Debbie Gibson

Debbie Gibson, an American actor, singer and songwriter is worth of more than 2 million dollars. She is most well-known as an international teen idol of the 1980s. She was born in Brooklyn, New York, on the 31st of August 1970. Growing in Long Island, she was raised in the suburbs of Merrick. She was a piano student with the well-known pianist Morton Estrin. Gibson began creating and writing her own music in the years before she was featured in the Billboard Hot 100. At the age of 14 the demo tape she had made was discovered by an established radio personality. The tape was shared with an executive at Atlantic Records, and her original song "Only in My Dreams," was instrumental in securing an immediate development contract. She began a promotional tour to showcase her music in venues throughout the United States. She spent the bulk of the year 1986-87 working on her songwriting catalog while traveling venues. Debbie's mother was always with Debbie to her gigs. She continued to study at Calhoun High School, Merrick, New York, simultaneously. Then, she was awarded an honors degree.
